SeaWorld San Antonio Review - A Look at the Ticket Options, Seasonal Passes, Attractions, and More

SeaWorld San Antonio is a 250 acre marine park, theme park, and oceanarium all in one. Every year, millions of Texans and non-Texans alike flock to this park in order to see marine mammals up close. There are also thrilling rides and entertaining shows put on daily. The nearby waterpark, Aquatica, is not included in the general admission price. Those who want to visit both parks receive a discount for purchasing both tickets at the same time.

There are a number of tickets available for SeaWorld admission: single day passes, yearly passes, two-year passes, and fun cards. A fun card is the price of a single visit, except that it offers unlimited admission for the rest of this season.

An annual pass includes unlimited admission to the main park on regular opening days, as well as free parking and food discounts. The annual pass also includes exclusive SeaWorld San Antonio coupons.
What does the park have to offer? Here are a few popular attractions:
Steel Eel

This coaster offers 4,000 feet of fast action and excitement. Riders can experience a 15-story drop right at the start. The drop is followed by intense climbs, plunges, and camelback. The trains travel up to 65 miles per hour.

Alligator Alley

Visitors can come eye to eye with an alligator at this part of the park. They can watch as the alligators are fed during the afternoon hours. Alligator Alley is home to more than a dozen American alligators, turtles, and a variety of fishes, including the Japanese Koi.

One Ocean

The new Shamu show offers a multi-sensory experience. It's both entertaining and educational. It features everything from killer whales to dancing fountains. Viewers are wowed by the performances of the killer whales and human entertainers both.

Shark Tank and Coral Reef

What would a marine animal park be without sharks? At this area of the park, there is a 450,000 gallon shark habitat that offers visitors the chance to see these creatures up close. Right next door is Coral Reef, the home to thousands of tropical fish.

Rio Loco

This raft ride bobs and bounces through a river with twists and turns. It's rightfully called a "crazy river" as it offers riders a highly exhilarating experience. The best time to go on this raft ride is in the morning before the crowds start coming in.

Overall, SeaWorld San Antonio is one of the most popular theme parks in not just the state of Texas, but the entire country. It's definitely worth a visit or two this season.
